Cape Cod Baseball League All Star Game
returns to Fenway Park

HYANNIS -- The Cape Cod Baseball League will return to Fenway Park for its annual All Star Game on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. The Boston Red Sox, who hosted this event in 2009 will also include this game on their 1.9 million pocket schedules.

     The official announcement was made last night at the league's monthly Executive Committee meeting at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center. 
 
     "The League is very excited about returning to Fenway to play our All Star Game," said president Judy Walden Scarafile. " And to have our game listed on nearly two million pocket schedules is a tremendous bonus." 
 
 
     The annual classic drew 14, 317 fans last year in poor weather. It is scheduled to air on NESN and CAI radio, the local NPR station. More details and the date that tickets will go on sale will follow later this month.
