Youth Baseball Clinics. The Cape Cod Baseball League Youth Baseball Clinics are run by each of the ten individual teams. The best way to gain information about the clinic in your area is to contact the nearest franchise. Most teams run six weeks of instructional clinics beginning after the public school year has been completed. Teams usually charge fees on a per week basis, with instruction typically in the mornings from Monday through Friday. For the most part, clinics target children between the ages of 5-13.

Houston Astros outfielder / First basemen Darin Erstad was the Cape League MVP in 1994. He played two seasons with the Falmouth Commodores and went first overall in the 1995 amateur draft. After spending ten seasons with the Angels from 1996 to 2006, Darin is now playing in Houston. During the 2000 MLB season, Darin hit a career high 25 home runs and finished 2nd in the American League batting race with a .355 batting average. In January 2002, Darin was inducted into the Cape Cod Baseball Hall of Fame.
