Mohegan Sun to host coaches’ convention UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Moheghan Sun Resort Casino is the site of the 2012 World Baseball and Softball Coaches Convention.
The event is scheduled for Jan. 19-21 with over 1000 baseball and softball coaches expected to attend.
The Cape Cod Baseball League is participating again this year and will have a booth at the convention.
Besides exhibits, there will be a multitude of speakers addressing all phases of softball and baseball from hitting, pitching, coaching and fielding to an evening of talking baseball moderated by Hazel Mae of the MLB Network and featuring new Boston Red Sox Manager Bobby Valentine and former Major League players such as Nomar Garciaparra and Al Leiter.
Registration is open to any person interested in attending the event or any group that would like to purchase booth space.
