Media Access for Hall of Fame Induction Day Ceremony

   Although the inaugural Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame ceremony is sold out, the League has made provisions for the media who are planning to attend.

   The Chatham Bars Inn will set up a media room nearby with close circuit television access of the event. 

   Kevin McLain, Director of CBI’s Audio-Visual, is the person to contact regarding your needs for the event. He can be reached at (508) 945-0096.

   WBZ-TV news anchor Scott Wahle will serve as Master of Ceremony. Those selected for the Hall of Fame include former Cape League players Thurman Munson, Mike Flanagan, Jeff Reardon, Mo Vaughn and Frank Thomas. Also honored for induction will be former CCBL manager Ed Lyons, former umpire and first league commissioner, Dan Silva, former players and Major League Scouts Lennie Merullo and Bill Enos, former player and manager Red Wilson, former CCBL official Dick Bresciani and long-time executive committee member and former Cotuit Kettleer general manager, Arnold Mycock.

   The tentative timetable for the ceremony:
     1:00 p.m.  Lunch in the main dining room
     2:30 p.m.  Induction ceremony begins
     4:30 p.m.  Expected conclusion of ceremony
     4:30-5:45 p.m.  Photographs, interviews and autographs
