These two teams had the opportunity to travel to Hartford, CT and play at Rockies AA affiliate ballpark, Dunkin Donuts Park. Y-D shut down the Gatemen and had a solid day offensively, cruising to a 5-0 win. Tommy Mace threw five innings of shutout ball allowing just two hits and striking out five Gatemen. Nick Quintana the scoring off with a solo home run in the third inning. In the sixth, Noah Campbell drove in a run with a single to right, followed by a bases loaded walk to Bradlee Beesley and then a fielder’s choice that drove in another to make it 4-0. Christian Koss drove in one more with a sacrifice fly, putting the nail in the coffin.

Cotuit’s second and third inning helped them sneak past Bourne Tuesday evening. Both teams registered double digit hits, eleven for the Braves and ten for the Kettleers. In the second, Cotuit’s Michael Salvatore drove in two with a triple to take a 2-0 lead. A Michael Toglia two-run homer gave the Kettleers a 4-0 lead. Bourne scored one in the fourth and fifth on a sacrifice fly and an Anthony Prato solo shot to cut the lead in half. Keeping Cotuit quiet, Bourne scored one more in the ninth on a sacrifice fly from Jared Triolo, but they fell short of a comeback.

Hyannis gave up two runs in the top of the first, but answered with four in the bottom half. After a run was walked in, Cameron Cannon singled to score the second run for Falmouth. Pedro Pages singled to right field for Hyannis to get a run back, and Todd Lott drove in three with a home run. The Commodores scored a run in the following three innings on a Austin Langworthy solo jack, a groundout, and a passed ball to regain the lead. Hyannis put up four more in the fifth which was highlighted by Braden Comeaux’s single to center that drove in two to make it 8-5 Hawks. Falmouth crossed two in the ninth, but could not complete the comeback.

Orleans was down 5-4 heading into the seventh inning when their offense made a push with three runs to take the late lead. Spencer Steer doubled in a run to tie the ball game. Philip Clarke drove Steer in with a single to center to take the lead over the Mariners. Justin Lavey followed that up with a double to score Logan Wyatt. Harwich could not answer to the three-run inning, and gave up one more in the eighth on Wyatt RBI single to center field to cap the scoring for the game.

The game was called due to fog, but Brewster held a commanding lead in the sixth and final inning. The Whitecaps put up four in the third on a Jesse Franklin single to right, then another two crossed thanks to a throwing error. Chatham managed to get one back in the fourth on a Colin Simpson double to make it 4-1. Brewster was not done scoring and put up another five in the fifth, including a grand slam from Gage Workman to take the 9-1 lead, eventually the final of the six inning game.
