CSTV to Televise CCBL Championships

CSTV: College Sports Television
to televise Cape Cod Baseball League Championship in August 


NEW YORK, July 26, 2003 – CSTV: College Sports Television (www.cstv.com), the first 24-hour college sports network, will present the first national telecasts of the Cape Cod League Championship Series in August, exposing fans throughout the country to the premier amateur baseball league which has spawned such major league stars as reigning Cy Young Award winner Barry Zito, Mo Vaughn, Nomar Garciaparra, Frank Thomas and Jeff Bagwell. 


     CSTV will present the best-of-three championship series Wednesday, August 13, Thursday, August 14, and, if necessary, Friday, August 15. All telecasts begin at 8 p.m. ET. CSTV has been airing twice-weekly regular season Cape Cod League game telecasts and is also televising the league’s All-Star Game Friday, August 1, at 8 p.m. ET.
