Hyannis (2-1) at Cotuit (1-2)
The Harbor Hawks received great pitching last night, holding Cotuit to just one run on six hits last night, while the offense did just enough to win 4-1 at Lowell Park. Houston Roth started for Hyannis and set the tone early. He went four strong innings allowing the only run on three hits. A big night from Trevor Hauver on the offensive side, including a home run, helped the Hawks cruise to the finish. Hyannis will have Travis Marr on the hill in Chatham to take on the Anglers’ Troy Miller at 7:00 PM. Cotuit will travel to Orleans and pitch Luke Chevalier at 7:00 PM.

Wareham (4-0) at Falmouth (1-2)
Wareham continues to tear things up early in the season, improving to 4-0 after beating the Commodores last night 7-4. Despite a solid start from Falmouth’s Mitchell Stone, the two and three hitters for the Gatemen did most of the damage, driving in six of the seven runs to help the team’s winning effort. Tonight, Wareham will start Cody Carroll against the Harwich Mariners at 5:30 PM. Falmouth will start Matthew Canterino in Y-D to take on the Red Sox at 5:00 PM.

Orleans (1-2) at Bourne (2-1)
Bourne’s pitching staff had a stellar night, striking out a combined thirteen and only allowing five hits to secure the 7-1 victory. Orleans’ lone run came in the top of the ninth, where the game was all but over for the Firebirds. While Bourne had the pitching and defense, they also had it going on the offensive side of things, collecting ten hits. Orleans will pitch Kevin Milam when they host Cotuit tonight at 7:00 PM. Bourne will travel to Brewster and give the nod to Harrison Rutkowski at 5:00 PM.

Yarmouth-Dennis (2-1-1) at Harwich (1-3)
The Red Sox were able to put together a three-run fifth inning to top the Mariners 4-1 last night. Great pitching performances has been a theme league-wide thus far, and Y-D is following the trend. Karl Kauffmann started and went five strong innings allowing just one unearned run and striking out five. Despite a good four inning start from Harwich’s Xzavion Curry, the offense did not have enough juice to help his effort. Y-D will host Falmouth at 5:00 PM, and they will start Jensen Elliot. Harwich will hand the ball to Ty Buckner to host the Gatemen at 5:30 PM.

Brewster began the game with a bang when they put together a five-run second inning, and they finished in style with a four-run ninth inning. They put together eight hits and ten runs to beat the Anglers 10-1. Zach Linginfelter set the tone defensively for the Whitecaps, striking out eight in four innings of work.
