The exhibit at the 2011 Mohegan Sun World Baseball & Softball Coaches' Convention, January 20-22 will be a great opportunity for volunteers from the Cape Cod Baseball League to mingle with fellow coaches and administrators.

It takes place at the spectacular Mohegan Sun Resort Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. More than 1000 baseball coaches and softball coaches are expected in attendance again this winter.

The registration rate for coaches who register and pay in advance of the event is $139.00. Coaches registering at the event, or coaches who have not paid their registration fee at the time of the event, will be charged the "At the Door" rate of $159.00. Players or students ages 14 - 18 can attend our event for $75.00 and the rate does not change at the door.

Top-notch presenters include 2002 CCBL Hall of Famer and two-time AL batting champion Nomar Garciaparra, World Champion and MLB All-Star pitcher Al Leiter; former Cape Leaguer and current manager/baseball analyst Bobby Valentine, New York Yankees hitting coach Kevin Long and Tampa Bay Rays hitting coach Derek Shelton.

The Cape League will showcase videos from Cape League games during the past several years at its exhibit and will be the sixth straight year the national’s top amateur summer league will be in attendance.

CCBL president Judy Scarafile stated that, “It’s very important that the Cape League participates in the clinic. It’s a wonderful opportunity to touch base with our sponsors and fans during the off-season. It is very well-attended and well-organized by (former Red Sox and Cape League catcher) Roger LaFrancois.“
