Cape Cod, MA – September 3, 2020:

The Cape Cod Baseball League’s Hall of Fame Committee voted on Tuesday to postpone the 2020 Cape Cod Baseball  League Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to 2021. The decision was based on the health concerns and safety needs of all involved. Following Massachusetts state health guidelines and medical recommendations, the committee determined it would be too difficult to guarantee the safety of the inductees, families and friends.

“I think the board made the right decision in moving forward to 2021, and I think next year it will give us a lot of time to work out the ceremony, and hopefully have a great day,” said committee Chairman, Chuck Sturtevant.

The induction ceremony will instead take place on Sunday November 21, 2021 at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club.

We would like to thank all our dedicated volunteers, league members and sponsors for their continued support during this unprecedented time.
