Message From The President: End of 202208/21/2022 8:15 AM Article By: Chuck Sturtevant Wow it is hard to believe the 2022 season is over. Congratulations to the Bourne Braves winning the CCBL Championship. Also congratulations to the Brewster Whitecaps and all the playoff teams for a tremendous playoff run. I must also thank all the volunteers for the league and teams for help making the season one of the best. I also want to thank the hundreds of host families for all you do in making our players enjoy their season. Many will never forget their time with the league. To the Wareham Gatemen for providing us with a great All Star Game. Even with the heat it was well attended. I also must thank the league officers and all the Executive Board members for all their hours of dedication to the league. I must now say thank you to all our fans for making the a wonderful season. Finally, I must thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for keeping our league as “Americas home town league”. As I complete my 36 years with the league I take with me many fond memories and for that I can never repay you. Lastly, I thank my wife Rose and the rest of my family for allowing me to do something I truly love. Hopefully, I will see you at a future game. Regards, |
