Lego night at Chatham's Veterans Field

LEGOLAND® Master model builder Ian Coffey, right, and mascot Bertie

New England’s only LEGOLAND® Discovery Center continues its Summer Tour on Sunday, Aug. 3 with a visit to Cape Cod.

Master model builder Ian Coffey and attraction-mascot Bertie will attend the Water Street Wing Fling in Sandwich followed by a Cape Cod Baseball League game at Veterans Field in Chatham, where they will throw out the first pitch, conduct a live, baseball-themed LEGO® brick build, and present a special gift to the Anglers. The Chatham Anglers will play host to the Orleans Firebirds at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet Ian and Bertie, enter to win LEGOLAND Discovery Center tickets, watch Ian Coffey in a live build, and take photos with a full-sized replica of the World Series trophy constructed entirely from LEGO® bricks.

Coffey and Bertie will be at the Water Street Wing Fling from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Henry T. Wing School, 33 Water St., Sandwich; and will be on hand at the Chatham-Orleans game from 6:30-9 p.m. at Veterans Field, 702 Main St., Chatham.
