Join in on Fourth of July baseball fun across Cape

     Below we have short descriptions of all the Saturday, July 4 activities for each Cape Cod Baseball League team:

 
Bourne Braves:
     The players will be a part of the Sandwich Town Parade starting at 10 a.m. at the Henry T. Wing School, 33 Water St., in Sandwich. 
 
     The Braves will host the Wareham Gatemen for a 6 p.m. game time, and the first 500 fans to arrive will receive special giveaways. Plus, the team will honor Bourne Police Officer Jared MacDonald and his family in a special pre-game ceremony. For more information please follow this link: http://bournebraves.org/baseball/special-events-schedule/
 
Brewster Whitecaps:
     The team will travel to play the Harwich Mariners at 5:30 p.m. at Whitehouse Field in Harwich.
 
Chatham Anglers:
     The team will be participating in the Chatham Fourth of July parade, which begins at 9:30 a.m. on Main Street in Chatham. For more information follow this link: http://chathamparade.com/.
 
     The Chatham Anglers will visit the Orleans Firebirds at Eldredge Park in Orleans for a 7 p.m. start time.

Cotuit Kettleers:

     The players will be riding a float at 11 a.m. from the Cotuit Post Office to the Waldorf School in the Cotuit July 4 Parade, which is sponsored by the Cotuit-Santuit Civic Association. Following the parade, there will be Free Family Fun Day at Lowell Park, which includes a dunk tank, bouncy house, obstacle course, face painting and more. Also, following the parade a hitting contest at Lowell Park will take place. Participants will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis for $20 for men and women 18 years of age and older. 
 
 
      The game will begin at 5 p.m. between the Falmouth Commodores and the Cotuit Kettleers at Lowell Park.
 
Falmouth Commodores:
     The team will be handing out flags to fans for tonight’s game (Friday, July 3) vs. Cotuit at 6 p.m. at Arnie Allen Diamond at Guv Fuller Field in Falmouth. 
 
     The Commodores will be playing July 4 at the Cotuit Kettleers' Lowell Park at 5 p.m.
 
Harwich Mariners:
     The second session of the Wednesday, July 1 baseball clinic will be made up Saturday, July 4 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The team will host the Brewster Whitecaps for a 5:30 p.m. start time. Look out for the team’s themed July 4 hats on the field.
 
Hyannis Harbor Hawks:
     The players will be participating in multiple Fourth of July parades tossing out fun prizes to fans. Players will be in the following parades: Barnstable Village at 9 a.m. and Centerville at 10 a.m. followed by helping with games after at the Centerville Recreation Building.      Then the team will travel to play the Y-D Red Sox at Red Wilson Field in South Yarmouth at 5 p.m.
 
Orleans Firebirds:
     The Firebirds team will be riding on a float in the Orleans' Fourth of July Parade, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon through downtown Orleans. For parade information, follow this link: http://orleanscapecod.org/event/orleans-2015-fourth-of-july-parade/.
 
     Then, the team will host the Chatham Anglers at 7 p.m. at Eldredge Park in Orleans. It is Rally Flag Night, with the first 100 fans receiving a new rally flag. Players on the float during the parade will be waving the flags.

Wareham Gatemen:
     The team will play the Bourne Braves at 6 p.m. at Doran Park in Bourne.

Y-D Red Sox:
     The team will host the Hyannis Harbor Hawks at 5 p.m. at Red Wilson Field in South Yarmouth. The team will be having a few additional raffles in addition to a 50/50 (including a gift basket), and last season's championship trophy will be on hand and available for photos.
