After a day of rain and cancellations on Thursday, Cape League action resumed on Friday night.

Cotuit (8-7): 6 at Falmouth (7-8): 7

At the end of four innings, Cotuit was up 4-1 after three singles drove in three runs in the third, and another in the fourth. Falmouth gave up another two runs in the top of the sixth, but the Commodores were able to string three hits together, including a two-run double from Edouard Julien, to tie the game up at six. Both teams were shut down from that point on, and were forced to play extra baseball. However, it only took one inning as Falmouth’s Kyle Stowers worked a lead off single to start the bottom of the tenth. After a balk and a ground out to second, Stowers was able to advance to third, and score on a single from Cameron Cannon for a walk-off.
