CAPE COD - The Cape League Youth Clinics are coming to a field near you, offering another unforgettable summer to kids all over Cape Cod.

The Cape Cod Baseball League, America’s best summer baseball league for NCAA players, kicks off its 2019 season in June – but they wont be the only ones with field access.  A little known, yet highly popular, part of the CCBL experience for young fans is playing ball on the field at one of the Cape League’s ten youth clinics.

Clinic attendees are given the unique opportunity to play baseball on the field with Cape League players and coaches during the summer, and to learn from the best.  The clinics, which are run independently by each of the Cape League’s 10 teams, offer a variety of programs for youngsters of all ages and skill levels.

The youth clinics offer one of the most unique baseball experiences in the country as many of the players in the Cape League are drafted into the MLB every year and there are countless of All-Star caliber players in the big leagues that were coaches at a Cape League youth clinic.

For many youngsters, the love for baseball and the love for the Cape Cod Baseball League often begins with an unforgettable experience in a CCBL Youth Clinic.  Everyone has his or her story.  Chris Fitzgerald, the first year General Manger for the Falmouth Commodores, credits his love for the CCBL starting when he attended the Commodore youth clinics as a kid and he hasn’t lost that love for Falmouth or the CCBL since.

Each team starts their clinics in mid-June and run either five to seven week-long clinics through the end of July and early August. Information on each team’s clinic times, session weeks, ages, and additional information can be found on each individual team’s website: http://www.capecodbaseball.org/teams/ccbl/
