As the All-Star selections became official, here are the players that stood out above the rest in this past week’s Cape League action. 

Chatham Anglers

• Parker Scott LHP: The southpaw from Oklahoma State pitched his best game of the season on July 8th against the Orleans Firebirds. Scott pitched seven shutout innings while giving up five hits and striking out nine. 
• RJ Dabovic RHP: The junior Sun Devil had a good week out of the bullpen. Dabovich pitched in two games, recording one win and only giving up one earned run. However, Dabovich's standout performance was on July 14th against the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He would toss four shutout innings, giving up just one hit and striking out nine. 
• Cooper Davis OF: The sophomore from Vanderbilt had a good first week with the Anglers. Davis went six for 21 with two runs, three walks, and one stolen base. 
• Kolby Kubichek SP: The sophomore Texas Longhorn had another quality start on July 13th against the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Kubichek tossed five shutout innings while giving up only two hits, one walk, and throwing eight strikeouts. Kubichek was also named to this year’s East Division All-Star roster. 
• Jeremy Wu-Yelland LHP: The junior from the University of Hawaii had some impressive appearances out of the bullpen this week. Wu-Yelland tossed four shutout innings between his appearances, while giving up only three hits, one walk, and tossing three punchouts. Additionally, he recorded his first save of the season on July 6th against the Cotuit Kettleers. 

Harwich Mariners

• Connor McCullough SP: The redshirt freshman from Kansas State had his best outing of the season. McCullough tossed eight shutout innings, giving up only three hits and striking out nine. McCullough is now 1-0 on the season with an sub-one ERA in sixteen and two thirds innings. 
• Niko Kavadas IF: The junior from Notre Dame had a week of power. Kavadas hit four home runs this week, with three of them in one game. Kavadas standout performance was on July 13th against the Wareham Gatemen where he would go three for four, with three runs, three home runs, and five RBIs. Kavadas was also named to be in this years Home Run Contest and was also named to this year’s East Division starting lineup for the All-Star Game. 
• Daniel Cabrera OF: The junior from Louisiana State University had a solid week. Cabrera went seven for 23 with three runs, one run batted in, and one stolen base. Cabrera was also named to be on this year’s East Division starting lineup for the All-Star game. 
• Jordan Butler LHP: The junior Florida Gator recorded his first win of the season. On July 8th against the Y-D Red Sox, he pitched five innings, giving up one earned run, with five hits and one walk, and struck out five. 

Orleans Firebird: 

• Isaac Esqueda LHP: The junior southpaw from USC recorded his first win of the season on July 9th against the Brewster Whitecaps. The reliever tossed six shutout innings, giving up only three hits and striking out eight. 
• Shay Whitcomb SS/2B: The junior middle infielder from the University of California-San Diego had a stellar week. Whitcomb went seven for 16 with five runs, one double, two home runs, three runs batted in, four walks, and one stolen base. Whitcomb’s standout performance was on July 13th against the Y-D Red Sox going two for three, with three runs, one home run, two runs batted in, one walk, and one stolen base. 
• Zach Britton C/OF: The junior from Louisville shined as well. Britton went six for 19 with six runs, two doubles, two home runs, eight runs batted in, four walks, and one stolen base. Brittons standout performance was on July 13th against the Y-D Red Sox, going three for four, with four runs, one double, two home runs, and six runs batted in. 
• Jake Eder LHP: The junior southpaw from Vanderbilt University had a good start on July 10th against the Harwich Mariners. Eder tossed four innings while giving up only one hit, two walks, and striking out two. 

Y-D Red Sox

• Erik Toleman LHP: The sophomore southpaw from Arizona State University recorded his first win of the season on July 11th against the Brewster Whitecaps. Toleman tossed five and two thirds innings while giving up only one earned run, five hits, and striking out eight.
• Ian Seymour SP: The junior southpaw from Virginia Tech University recorded his second win of the season on July 14th against the Falmouth Commodores. Seymour tossed six shutout innings giving up only one hit, one walk, and striking out seven. 
• Riley King IF/OF: The senior Georgia bulldog is chasing this week’s “Player of the Week” award. King went 11 for 26 with five runs, one double, three home runs, and six runs batted in. King’s standout performance was on July 11th against the Brewster Whitecaps, going an astonishing four for four with two runs, one double, two homers, and four RBIs. King was also announced to this year’s East Division starting lineup for the All-Star game. 
• Jacob Winger RHP: The junior reliever from High Point University had a great week. Winger gave up zero runs in the four appearances he had this week. Wingers standout performance was on July 14th against the Falmouth Commodores, recording his save of the season, throwing one and one thirds shutout innings, and striking out a batter. 
• Wyatt Young SS/2B: The sophomore middle infielder from Pepperdine University played strong throughout the last seven days. Young went nine for 24 with two runs, two doubles, four runs batted in, and two walks. Young was also named to be in this year’s East Division starting lineup. 

Bourne Braves

• Mac Lardner LHP: Lardner recorded a win on July 8th against the Falmouth Commodores. Lardner tossed seven shutout innings, giving up only two hits, and striking out eight. Lardner was also named to this year's West Division roster. 
• Jud Fabian CF: The freshman Florida Gator had a good week. Fabians standout performance was on July 9th against the Cotuit Kettleers, going three for five with two runs, two home runs, and four runs batted in. Fabian was also named to this year’s West Division roster. 
• Ryan Cusick SP: The former pitcher of the week had a good start on July 14th against the Harwich Mariners. Cusick threw six and two thirds innings while giving up one earned run, three hits, one walk, and striking out seven. 
• Harrison Rutkowski SP: The junior starter from Rutgers had another quality start, recording his second win of the season on July 9th against the Cotuit Kettleers. Rutkowski pitched five innings, giving up one earned run with five hits. Rutkowski was also named to the West Division All-Star roster. 
• Zavier Warren IF/C: The junior from Central Michigan had a good week. Warren went seven for 19 with five runs, two doubles, two runs batted in, and two walks. 

Cotuit Kettleers

• Zach McCambley SP: The junior starter from Coastal Carolina University recorded his first win of the season on July 13th. McCambley tossed five and one thirds shutout innings, giving up only five hits, one walk, and striking out seven. 
• Mattew Mervis IF/P: The senior Blue Devil recorded his first save of the season on July 11th against the Harwich Mariners, tossing three perfect innings and striking out seven. On July 14th against the Orleans Firebirds, Mervis went one for four, with one run, one double, and one run batted in. Mervis was also named to play for this year’s West Division team in the All-Star game. 
• Allbry Major OF: The junior switch hitting outfielder from Xavier had a great week. Major went nine for 17 with one run, one double, two runs batted in, two walks, and one stolen base. Major’s standout performance was on July 8th against the Wareham Gatemen, going three for five, with one run and a double. Major was also selected to represent the West Division in the All-Star game. 
• Reid Johnston SP: The junior from NC State had another great start on July 11th against the Harwich Mariners. Johnston recorded his second win, tossing six shutout innings while giving up only two hits, two walks, and striking out four. 

Hyannis Harbor Hawks

• Ian Fair 1B/3B: The junior corner infielder from Northeastern had a good week. Fair went six for fifteen with one run, two doubles, two runs batted in, and two walks. 
• Hunter Goodman C/OF: The sophomore from Memphis went six for nineteen with two runs, three doubles, one home run, four runs batted in, and two walks. Goodman’s standout performance was on July 11th against the Orleans Firebirds, going two for three with one run, one home run, two runs batted in, and one walk. Goodman was also named to participate in this years Home Run Contest and to be on the West Division’s roster for the All-Star Game. 
• Jonathan Hughes RHP: The senior from Georgia Tech had a quality appearance on July 14th against the Chatham Anglers. Hughes tossed four shutout innings, giving up only four hits, one walk, and striking out four. 
• Tyler Mattison SP: The junior starter from Bryant University had a quality start on July 10th against the Bourne Braves. Mattison pitched five innings while giving up two earned runs, five hits, two walks, and striking out three. Mattison was also named to be on this year’s West Division All-Star roster. 

Wareham Gatemen 

• Levi Prater LHP: The junior southpaw from the University of Oklahoma had a good outing out of the bullpen. On July 11th against the Bourne Braves, Prater recorded the win, pitching four shutout innings while giving up just one hit and striking out seven. 
• Matt McLain SS/CF: The sophomore utility man from UCLA had a great week. McLain went nine for 23 with seven runs, two doubles, one triple, six runs batted in, seven walks, and four stolen bases. McLain’s standout performance was on July 9th against the Y-D Red Sox however, going three for five with two runs, one double, one triple, and two runs batted in. McLain was also named to be on this year’s West Division roster for the All-Star Game. 
• Adrian Del Castillo C/1B: The sophomore catcher from Miami had a good week. Del Castillo went six for 24 with five runs, two doubles, one home run, and five runs batted in. 
• Trent Palmer RHP: The junior from Jacksonville University recorded his first save of the season on July 10th against the Chatham Anglers. Palmer tossed three shutout innings while giving up only two hits, two walks, and striking out five. Palmer was also named to be on this year’s West Division roster. 

Brewster Whitecaps 

• Brett Auerbach C/IF: The senior backstop had an impressive week. Auerbach recorded a hit in all six games he appeared in, going seven for 23 with five runs, one double, one run batted in, and two stolen bases. Auerbach was also named to this year’s East Division team for the All-Star Game. 
• Tyler Gentry OF/3B: The junior outfielder had a great week. Gentry went eleven for 26 with three runs, three doubles, two triples, and six runs batted in. Gentrys standout performance was on July 14th against the Wareham Gatemen, going three for four with two doubles, one triple, and two runs batted in. Gentry was also named to be on this year’s East Division team for the All-Star Game. 
• Mason Dodd IF/OF: The senior from Belmont Abbey had a good first week with the Whitecaps. Dodd went six for 18 with four runs, two doubles, one home run, three runs batted in, and three walks. Dodds standout performance was on July 11th, going two for four, with one run, one home run, and two runs batted in. 
• Sean Fisher LHP: The junior reliever from the University of Maryland had a successful week to say the least. Fisher recorded two wins in both of the appearances he had this week. Fisher pitched a total of five and one third innings, giving up only one run and six hits in his two outings. 
• Mason Black SP: The sophomore from Lehigh University had a quality start on July 12th against the Wareham Gatemen. Black pitched six innings, giving up two earned runs with three hits, two walks, and six strikeouts. Black was also named to be this year’s East Division starting pitcher in the All-Star Game. 

Falmouth Commodores

• Zach DeLoach CF/RF: The junior from Texas A&M is looking to be this week’s “Player of the Week”. Deloach went ten for 23, collecting six runs, two doubles, three home runs, and six runs batted in. Deloach’s standout performance came on July 9th against the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, going three for four with two runs, two home runs, three runs batted in, and one walk. 
• Trei Cruz SS/2B: The middle infielder junior from Rice University had a great week. Cruz went nine for 23, collecting two runs, one double, two runs batted in, and three stolen bases. Cruz was also named to be in this year’s All-Star game, as he finds himself in the starting lineup for the West Division. 
• Barron Radcliff OF: The junior from Georgia Tech had a monster performance on July 11th against the Chatham Anglers. Radcliff went three for five with two runs, one double, two home runs, and eight runs batted in, including a rare grand slam. Radcliff will also be participating in this years Home Run Contest. 
• Carmen Mlodzinski SP: The junior starter from the University of South Carolina had another quality start on July 13th against the Brewster Whitecaps. Mlodzinski pitched five innings, giving up two earned runs with four hits, one walk, and striking out seven.
