The Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) officers, directors, coaches, and GM's have all been working very hard over the past seven (7) months to be able to bring CCBL baseball back to the Cape this summer. We have, with the help of our medical advisory committee, local and state departments of health, state and local elected officials, and many others, concluded that it is in the best interest and safety for all that we require all players, coaches, interns and other on field personnel to be vaccinated before the beginning of the 2021 CCBL season.

*THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RULES ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE CAPE COD BASEBALL LEAGUE 2021 SEASON ONLY*

To maintain a healthy and safe environment for our players, coaches, interns, volunteers, fans, our local communities, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Cape Cod Baseball League will require the following individuals to be fully vaccinated prior to the 2021 CCBL season:

All CCBL officials, volunteers, and interns who do not reside locally shall provide proof of full vaccination to the CCBL Covid Coordinator at least 48 hours prior to arrival on the Cape.

All franchisee officials, volunteers, players, coaches, and interns who do not reside locally shall provide proof of full vaccination to their respective franchise Covid Captain at least 48 hours prior to arrival on the Cape.

All CCBL officials, volunteers, and interns who reside locally shall provide proof of full vaccination to the CCBL Covid Coordinator at least 48 hours prior to beginning in-person league related activities.

All franchisee officials, volunteers, players, coaches, and interns who reside locally shall provide proof of full vaccination to their respective franchise Covid Captain at least 48 hours prior to beginning in-person franchise related activities.

All umpires officiating any exhibition, regular season, or playoff game during the 2021 CCBL season shall provide the CCBL Director of Officiating proof of full vaccination at least 48 hours prior to any game in which they are scheduled to be an umpire.

"Proof of full vaccination" shall be a photocopy or image of the individual's vaccination card (front and back) . Such copy or image must be clear and legible, and no information contained on the card (front or back) may be redacted.

We all look forward to a great and safe summer of Cape Cod Baseball. Thank you for your understanding the need to take this action and your full compliance therewith.
