Mother Nature did not cooperate on Monday evening, causing two games to be rescheduled to Wednesday. Cotuit will host Bourne at 4:30pm this afternoon and Chatham will host Yarmouth-Dennis at 7:00pm to close out the 2022 regular season.

Both games have significant implications on the playoff seeding and division championship races.

In the East, Yarmouth-Dennis is playing for sole possesion of regular season Eastern Division Champions. With a win (or tie) Yarmouth-Dennis would have 48 (or 47) points on the season, finishing ahead of Brewster's 46 points. Yarmouth-Dennis would claim the #1 seed in the East Division Playoffs and be the Eastern DIvision Champions.

With a loss, Yarmouth-Dennis would finish tied with Brewster as Co-Eastern Division Champions. For playoff seeding purposes, Brewster would hold the tiebreaker over Yarmouth-Dennis and claim the #1 seed. Brewster and Yarmouth-Dennis are 2-2-2 head-to-head this summer, but Brewster would hold a better divisional record at 11-8-5 vs. 10-8-6.

In the West, Cotuit and Bourne are playing for the regular season Western Division Champions, the top overall seed in the CCBL playoffs, and the President's Trophy. In the event of a tie, Cotuit woud hold the tiebreaker over Bourne for playoff seeding, having a 3-2-1 record head-to-head this summer.
