The Cotuit Kettleers home opener will be June 10th, when they host the Chatham Anglers. The Kettleers opened last year’s season in Chatham. They’ll be looking to win their league-best 18th Cape League Championship this season.
In the dugout, Mike Roberts returns for his 19th year as Cotuit’s manager. As manager in Cotuit, Roberts has led the Kettleers to three Cape League titles in 2010, 2013, and 2019.
Caleb Lomavita will return from last summer’s team, after being named a Cape League All-Star in 2022. Christian Moore is one of the top 2024 draft-eligible prospects playing in the Cape League this summer. Through two years at Tennessee, Moore has hit .302 with a 1.016 OPS and 23 home runs.
Cotuit will run their youth clinics the following weeks this summer: June 26 - June 30, July 3 - July 7, July 10 - July 14, July 17 - July 21, and July 24 - July 28. All of Cotuit’s home games are played at Lowell Park. The field’s address is 10 Lowell Ave. Cotuit, MA. One notable change at Lowell Park this summer will be the Cotuit Athletic Association’s beautiful new scoreboard in centerfield!
