Harbor Hawks 4, Braves 2: Hyannis scored three runs in the top of the ninth to eliminate Bourne and advance to the Cape Cod Baseball League championship series for the first time since 2000.

The Braves scored first but were unable to hold off the Harbor Hawks in Game 2 of the West Division finals. Hyannis will face the winner of Saturday's East Division championship between Y-D and Orleans in the best-of-three finals beginning Sunday.

An RBI single by catcher Jason Delay (Vanderbilt) scored Corey Julks (Houston) to put the Braves up 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Responding as they have all series, the Harbor Hawks evened the score at 1 in the top of the third on a sacrifice fly from Tristan Hildebrandt (Cal State-Fullerton).

Heading into the fifth inning, both the Braves and Harbor Hawks were dead even at 1 with five hits apiece. Bourne’s Reid Humphreys (Mississippi State)started the bottom half of that inning after he reached on a Hyannis error. Brendan McKay (Louisville) followed him on base with a walk, and a fielder’s choice allowed McKay to advance to second and Peter Alonso (Florida) to first.

With CJ Chatham (Florida Atlantic) at the plate, McKay’s steal attempt to third resulted in an error by Hyannis catcher Jake Rogers (Tulane) and McKay came home to put the Braves up 2-1.

With Bourne just three outs away from leveling the series, Hyannis' ninth-inning rally began with a walk to Blake Tiberi (Louisville). Matt Thaiss (Virginia) followed with a single to advance Tiberi to third.

An RBI single for Ryne Birk (Texas A&M) tied the game at 2. With two still on base, Corey Bird (Marshall) tripled under pressure to give Hyannis its first lead of the game at 4-2.

The night ended early for Hyannis starter Thomas Burrows (Alabama) after 2 2/3 innings. Getting into a bases-loaded jam with no outs, Burrows was able to get Julks to strike out looking for the final out of his appearance. Burrows finished with two strikeouts, allowed five hits and gave up a run and a pair of walks.

Will Stillman (Wofford) came in and pitched 2 1/3 innings of hitless relief. He struck out two, walked one and gave up an unearned run.

Getting the win for the Harbor Hawks was reliever Marc Skinner (Troy), who finished with two strikeouts in three innings, allowing three hits but no runs. Aaron Civale (Northeastern) came in to close out the game in the ninth and he delivered.

Bourne starter Alex Robles (Austin Peay) struck out four in six innings, scattering six hits and surrendering a run. Joseph Christopher (St. John's) struck out one and walked one in an inning of scoreless, hitless relief in the seventh.

Taking the loss for the Braves was Austin Conway (Indiana State), who struck out one and gave up three runs on three hits in two innings.
