Exactly 671 days later, the first pitch of the 2021 season will also take place at Lowell Park as the Cotuit Kettleers host the Wareham Gatemen. The matchup features the teams who have won the past two Cape League Championships, with Wareham having won in 2018.

Wareham vs. Cotuit is one of five games, across three different start times on the Opening Day schedule. Also at 5pm, Yarmouth-Dennis will host Brewster in an Eastern Division matchup. At 6pm, Bourne will host Hyannis and Falmouth will host Chatham. The night will end with Orleans hosting Harwich at 7pm.

The 2021 Cape League season will feature a full 40 game schedule, beginning with Opening Day on June 20th through the culmination of the Championship Series in mid-August.
