     In the off season this “old announcer” wears a different hat. Last weekend the USCG crew from
Station Chatham gives Santa a lift to the Chatham fish pier where over 400 folks were
waiting for Santa to arrive. Then Santa was taken by fire engine to the Chatham Community
Center where more kids awaited gifts from Santa.

     In case you didn’t recognize him – it is Jim Nowak, the renown announcer from the Brewster White Caps.

     Jim has been announcing for more than two decades at Brewster. And in the “ off- season he is often doing an announcing gig here and there.
