FALMOUTH 3, BOURNE 2
The top-seeded Commodores brought home all three of their runs in the first two innings before proceeding to ride a solid team pitching performance to get the win. Regular season save leader Zachary Brzykcy struck out the side in the ninth to slam the door for Falmouth. The Braves will look to keep their season alive at home with game two at Doran Park on Saturday at 6 pm.
WAREHAM 8, COTUIT 7 (10 innings)
The Gatemen looked to be in complete control after a six-run first inning, but Cotuit battled back quickly, taking a 7-6 with a six-run explosion of their own in the fourth inning. Wareham tied the game in the seventh and walked it off on an infield single by Trey Lipscomb in the 10th. Game two will take place at Lowell Park Saturday at 4 pm.
HARWICH 1, CHATHAM 0
The Mariners came out on the right side of this pitcher’s duel and made history in the process, as pitchers Connor McCullough and Joe Boyle combined for a no-hitter. With momentum on their side, the Mariners will try to finish the series at home, with game two at Whitehouse Field coming Saturday at 5:30 pm
